4. The International arrivals building is always extremely busy. If you are flying into JFK on an airline that is not a major carrier - you will be flying into Terminal 4, which is the International arrivals building. Always allow yourself a lot more time if you are flying into this terminal.

5. The advantage of flying into, or out of JFK is that it rarely ever closes. Planes are almost never diverted, making it more likely for your plane to not be delayed. Very rarely does JFK ever close due to weather. There is a plane taking off or landing at JFK every 1 minute & 22 seconds!
